Once of the most asked questions I receive is "What do I think will happen to housing prices?" Each year the Salt Lake Board of Realtors releases a housing forecast for the current year. Although predictors don't know exactly what will happen to housing prices they give a educated guess. The Salt Lake Board of Realtors said that since there has been 3 years of steep housing price declines that current declines are not as steep. They predict that for the first 2 quarters of the year prices will stabilize and that during the last 2 quarters of the year home prices will slowly begin to rebound.
